SIA KOZLOWSKI Business Manager |
Sia Kozlowski joined Health Central OTI in August 2004 as Business Manager. Sia’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Leadership Management. She is currently completing a Master of Business Administration and has just commenced a Master of Business Research at UWA whereby she is obtaining the research skills to complete a Doctorate. Her research will examine the relationship between front counter skills and clinical success of Soft Tissue Occupational Therapists in Australia. Sia’s professional working background has been in both the public and private sectors in a variety of areas including education, services and manufacturing in Australia and Eastern Europe. This has given her a concise understanding of the nature of business globally. Sia firmly believes that strong interpersonal skills combined with competent work skills and ongoing training are essential in order to develop an effective business model. The culture at Health Central is indicative of this. Sia is an advocate of two-way communication. At Health Central we have seen how this has encouraged employees to support the organisation’s vision, united employees, promoted team building and facilitated smooth change processes. |

BRETT ZANI |
Brett Zani is a Senior Occupational Therapist and has been treating at Health Central OTI since 2003 with a specialisation in sports & performance injury & enhancement. Brett is currently the treating practitioner for the Basketball WA Intensive Training Centre Program, Youth Ballet of WA, WAAPA musical theatre & dance programs and Keady Irish Dance School. Brett also treats numerous basketball clubs & dance schools in the greater metropolitan area. He is also available for seminars on a range of topics such as injury prevention and management and has helped design injury management programs for multiple sporting clubs and recreation centres. Brett graduated from Curtin University in 2003 and has completed post graduate soft tissue courses as well as facilitated soft tissue education seminars and tutorials. For the past four years he has supervised Occupational Therapy students and continues to do so. In 2007 Brett was awarded the Curtin University Fieldwork Supervision Award for his dedication to teaching and achieving high outcomes with students. Brett currently implements the Level One professional development program at Health Central OTI. |

LAUREN ADENDORFF |
Lauren graduated from Curtin University in 2005 and has been working at Health Central OTI since 2006. She is currently working between both the Mount Hawthorn and Ardross Clinics. Since working with Health Central Lauren has worked with a diverse range of client groups, including athletes, children and executives within the corporate sector. She is currently the treating therapist for the Australian Underwater Hockey team, and will be travelling with the team on their 2008 World Championships in South Africa. Lauren has a holistic approach to her client care, using external modifications and strategies to assist in alleviating negative peripheral factors in client health. These may include stretching programs, exercise programs, client education and workplace assessments. Lauren has previous experience in Physical Rehabilitation and Aged Care focusing on mobility, utilisation of assistive equipment and developing activity programs for high care clients. She also has experience in programs assisting adolescents and adults, with mental health issues, to live independent and healthy lifestyles. Lauren is looking to further develop her current knowledge and qualifications in the near future via external study through James Cook University. |

AMY HOUSE |
Amy studied Occupational Therapy at Curtin University of Technology and has been a practitioner at Health Central OTI since 2007. She has completed post graduate studies in Soft Tissue Injury Management in QLD. Amy previously worked in corporate health, specialising in ergonomics, as a contractor to companies such as Rio Tinto. Amy is passionate about facilitating people to apply a holistic approach to their health, enabling them to lead productive and fulfilling lives at every age and stage of life. |

SIMON CAMPBELL |
Simon is an Occupational Therapist, who graduated in 2007 with a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Curtin University of Technology. He has an undergraduate degree in Applied Science majoring in Health and Physical Education from the University of Notre Dame where he received a nomination for University Student of the Year from The Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation. He is also currently continuing his post graduate studies in Nutrition. Simon is a fully qualified Level 2 Sports Trainer trained through Sports Medicine Australia. He has coached basketball for a number of years at Perry Lakes and Kalamunda, and has also been involved in playing and administration. Simon was the treating practitioner for the Men’s and Women’s Under 20 State Teams at the 2008 Under 20 Australian National Championships in Albury, New South Wales. As a client from Health Central in the early days, Simon was inspired by other treating practitioners to study and practice Occupational Therapy. |
